How The Sunday Board works

What it is

The Sunday Board is one shared board for a group's picks: bets you placed at any sportsbook or prediction market, or friendly picks with no money on them. Every pick grades itself from the live scores, and everyone sees the standings. It covers the NFL and college football, plus the NBA and men's college basketball, with more sports coming soon. It's free, needs no sportsbook login, and takes no bets. Want to look first? The sample board is a live, read-only board.

Adding a betAdding a bet

Tap Add bet (on a phone, the green +, then Add a bet). Pick who it's for (you, or + Guest), which boards it goes on, the wager and to-win (or the odds โ€” either fills the other), then the pick. + Add another leg makes a parlay. Spreads and totals start at the game's current line. Pick the sport from the dropdown beside the week; basketball also has Today and Month views (tap the week).

Importing a betImporting a bet

๐Ÿ“ฅ Import a bet reads a picture of your bet slip, a DraftKings share link (Paste reads a copied link or screenshot; FanDuel's share links don't include the bet, so use a screenshot there), or a pick you type or say (โ€œChiefs โˆ’3 and Mahomes over 250 passing yards, $20 to win $65โ€). It fills in a draft for you to check โ€” nothing is added until you tap Add to board, and the picture is never kept. Several picks with their own amounts become separate bets. Prediction-market positions work too: pick the market and enter contracts ร— price.

If the first read leaves something blank โ€” a team, a player, a line โ€” a second AI model reads the same picture. Anything it found is filled in, and anywhere the two reads disagree is listed above the picks so you can check it. A player's team comes from the roster, so a player with no team on the slip isn't a gap. If the second model doesn't answer within a minute (or you tap Skip the double-check), the sheet says which blanks are left to fill in. When a name on the slip could be more than one player โ€” only the last name matched, or two players share it โ€” the pick shows a list to choose from, with the player most often picked on the site chosen first.

Types of picksTypes of picks

Team picks: moneyline, spread, team total and game total โ€” for the whole game, a half or a quarter (college basketball plays halves). Player picks: over/under on a stat line, touchdown scorers, double-doubles and the first basket; basketball points can also be for a quarter or a half. Specials: first to score, race to a score, overtime, winning margin and more. Everything grades from the official box score and play-by-play; a player who doesn't play is a push, as at a sportsbook.

Where sportsbooks settle a bet differently, a bet that names its sportsbook follows that book's rule. DraftKings counts overtime in a basketball 4th quarter and FanDuel doesn't; FanDuel counts a free throw as the first basket and DraftKings doesn't. A first-basket pick on a player who didn't start is void at both.

Futures โ€” titles, division winners, win totals, playoffs and awards โ€” live on their own board: This week โ–พ โ†’ Futures. They show where things stand all season and settle when it's decided.

Picks settle on their own within a minute or two of the result, with nobody watching. You can only set one by hand when it can't be graded. Cash out records a bet you settled early (enter what the sportsbook paid back). Edit, Delete (with Undo) and the โ˜† star (pins a bet to the top) are on every card.

Price finder

Prices for each game across the tracked sportsbooks and the Kalshi, Polymarket and Novig exchanges: moneylines, spreads, totals and (NFL) player props. Best prices right now lists the prices furthest from the market consensus โ€” a comparison, not a recommendation. Each game also has its own page with every price, the line's movement, the forecast and injuries. A line watch tells you when a spread or total reaches a number you set. The Sunday Board doesn't take bets or give betting advice.

Friends and shared boards

Add friends from + Friend or the Friends tab, then start a shared board together โ€” everyone on it sees and posts the same bets. An invite link signs a new friend up and puts them on the board in one step. Split bet divides one bet between people. Every Tuesday a shared board gets a recap card to send to the group chat.

Guest QR: turn it on from the Dashboards tab and anyone at a watch party can scan it and add a pick with no account. They see only the pick form.

Your profile shows your record and trophies; you choose who sees your friends and your bets. The Season tab has week-by-week results, the leaderboard (opt out any time) and streak trophies. The Forum is one conversation for everyone on the site.

On a TV

โ›ถ turns on TV mode, a denser board for casting or mirroring; add Big text under โš™ for across the room. The โš™ settings also hold a delay so results don't arrive ahead of your stream, compact view, team abbreviations, celebrations and Bet Probability (the market's likelihood for each open pick โ€” a read on the market, not a prediction).

On a Roku, add The Sunday Board from the Roku Channel Store. The TV shows a code; enter it at thesundayboard.com/link-tv and your board comes up.

Notifications and email

The ๐Ÿ”” bell (and phone alerts in the apps) covers settled picks, friend requests, board invites, the weekly recap and a picks reminder. Choose each one in Settings. A short Sunday email has the day's slate and your board; turn it off from any email or in Settings.

Install it like an app

The Android app is on Google Play; the iPhone app is coming soon. On the web, add it to your home screen: Safari โ†’ Share โ†’ Add to Home Screen, or Chrome โ†’ โ‹ฎ โ†’ Add to Home screen.

Your account

Send feedback and Settings are in the account menu (your board's name, top left). Delete my account is at the bottom of that menu, or at thesundayboard.com/delete-account. Help is on the Support page.

A quick note

The Sunday Board is a tracker for picks among people who know each other โ€” no real money changes hands here, and it isn't a sportsbook. Nothing on it is betting advice. You must be 18 or older. If gambling is or has been a problem for you, help is available: call or text 1-800-GAMBLER. Built and run by Volocent Labs LLC.
